Useless Headcanon Pertaining to Non-Humans and Monsters
Because I have too much spare time!
A monster is a creature with animal-level intelligence. Monsters are incapable of speech, complex thought, and cannot be reasoned with. This doesn’t mean they’re inherently bad, just that these are the terms that her universe’s Earth uses for them.
A non-human is a sentient being of human level intelligence. They are capable of speech, albeit not always English, and have been recorded having conversations with humans at least once in history. This does not mean they are good – they can be all over the spectrum of morality despite having intelligence.
